Week 1 Weigh in


I lost 5.8 lbs this week....woot woot!!! I love the feeling of fitting into something that you hadn't been able to for a while :) Here's to another great week....oh and I will be trying some new Pinterest healthy recipes and sharing the results...

Craptastic Week

This week has been pretty crappy.....my hubby is out of town and my son had a double ear infection which means we missed some school and some workouts.....On a positive note today my daughter turns 8...OMG!! I sound old!! I did the TIU 300rep challenge and it felt fabulous! I am down a few pounds from the beginning of the challenge (I weighed in at 158.8lbs) 98% sure thats what it was....

Tomorrow its back on track for eating and exercising....I feel so blah from missing a couple days, I am so ready to kick this thing into high gear!

Results

Soooo, my results are embarrassing so I have decided to not reveal them until my 30 day mark....I know that's lame, but what can you do?? :)

I am excited for the Spring Break Bikini Challenge to start, and super excited because my mom is doing it with me :) The initial weigh in is tomorrow so I will upload the pics along with my measurements then....for now I need to put the kids to bed so we can be not so crazy at a church function this evening.

OMG!!!

Getting the kids up and ready for school then I'm off to see what my body fat % is.....I know I can do nothing right this second to change it, but I'm nervous lol

Body Fat Percent

I will be getting a body fat percent test thingy done on Thursday. Its called a Bod Pod...its kinda like the water displacement test except it does air displacement. I'm kinda nervous because I have lost around 18 pounds from the beginning of my journey (back in August) and so if my percent is super high, like 30ish, I might cry....but I know I still have weight to lose and do not expect it to be really low...anyhow I'm both nervous and excited. My husband suggested that I don't look at the results until I go back to get another test done around March 18th....the end of the Spring Break Bikini Challenge, sounds good but I don't think I'll be able to not look.....

Breakfast....

Eating low carb is somewhat of a hassle. I can't just eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal..so on days like today when I'm tired and cold I have to remind myself why I'm eating low carb and make myself cook some food.
With that being said, on the menu for today is some eggs and turkey bacon and a scoop of protein powder.
Also I have to pack lunch and snacks for myself. (I go to school and cannot come home during the day) So I will pack a salad, lettuce, cucumbers, turkey , 1 oz Wasabi and soy sauce almonds (yum), half a gala apple and a water bottle.
